Exploring Victoria

Victoria 2011

There's nothing quite like waking up in the morning to a view like this

Our hotel was fantastic, we stayed at the Best Western Inner Harbour. The staff were extremely helpful, and our seventh floor room was spacious and offered stunning views of the harbour. We went to Shima Sushi for lunch, which was absolutely delicious. I have finally come to the realization that as much as I love sushi, there is actually more to Japanese food... And it's delicious too! We spent most of the day wandering around the inner harbour, and shopping. I think its great how many little local places they have here; so much more variety.

It's so pretty here

Annnndddd..... I got a backpack! Now I just need to book my flights and I'll be set for backpacking Spain this summer. We had dinner at Nautical Nelly's before heading out to the airport. The food was great, and the atmosphere was very friendly (if you go try it)! The city is so beautiful, and as we walked along the water the sunlight was streaming down over the water. I hope I'll be back next year!
